Elm Energy Group can assess your building’s health, durability and energy efficiency and provide a road-map of improvements. Our assessments range from a simple clipboard walk-through to comprehensive "whole-home" energy assessments which can help qualify you for more tax incentives, programs and Energy Efficient Mortgages.

Our Process is simple:

Evaluation – In home consultation and diagnostics to baseline your home and understand your needs and goals.
Solutions – Customize a prioritized report that will address your issues and help optimize your home’s performance.
Implementation – Manage and/or perform your building’s energy retrofit. Ensuring that the right solutions are performed properly is a key to success.
Test-out – Test out and benchmark against our initial evaluation baseline to measure our progress.

At Elm Energy Group we act as the homeowner’s advocate, the builders and architects team member and the subcontractor’s resource to enable your home to be built scalable, sensible and efficient from the beginning. Building a high performance home is simple, practical and feasible for all budgets. It is less about the products you use and mostly about the process in which you use them that makes your home energy efficient. From a Habitat for Humanity home or other outreach programs to a high-end custom home whose owner has the desire to be off the grid, starting from scratch is always most cost-effective, if you have a plan.

With all the tax incentives for builders and homeowner’s, it makes more sense than ever to build a home today that meets tomorrow’s standards. High performance homes are comfortable, healthy and affordable to maintain. For those with small children, or people that have breathing or allergy related problems, air free of dust, allergens and toxins is priceless. The time we spend feeling better and enjoying life is time well spent.

We verify a home’s energy efficiency for Energy Star, Leed for Homes, Earthcraft and other green building programs, as well as for lender’s in verification for Energy Efficient Mortgage products in the Hilton Head, Bluffton, Beaufort and Savannah Areas.
